The Youth Parade will be on Thursday, August 9 at 7PM. The route is from the Hamlin Town Hall (sign up and line up at 6:30 PM) to the Hamlin Ambulance building. Each child marching in the youth parade will receive a ride ticket, a free hot dog and pop at the carnival. There will be prizes for the scariest, cutest, and most unique costumes for individuals and groups of four or more. Additionally prizes will be awarded for floats and a place for them in the Firefighters Parade on Friday. There is a $3 special on the unlimited ride tickets after the parade. The Firefighters Parade is on Friday, August 10, starting at 7PM. The line up will begin at 5:30-6PM. The route will begin at the Tops Plaza and proceed north on Route 19 to the Hamlin Ambulance building. MC's will be Randy Jensen and Charlie Chick Sr.. Please note that on Friday, August 10, all traffic will be shutdown on Route 19 between Hamlin-Clarkson Townline Road and Railroad Ave. and Route 18 at the light in town from about 6:45 PM until the parade ends. Plan on making a detour around this area during this time.
